Welcome to the Benue State Sports Marketing, Gaming and Lottery Board. We are the official government agency responsible for regulating, promoting, and supervising all sports marketing, gaming, and lottery activities within Benue State. Established by law, we exist to ensure that the gaming and lottery sector operates with the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and accountability. Whether it is a physical lottery outlet or an emerging online gaming platform, our duty is to protect the interests of players, operators, and the general public.
Our vision is to build a gaming and lottery industry in Benue State that operates in accordance with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism, while making a significant contribution to economic development, employment generation, sports advancement, and social welfare.
Our mission is to regulate the gaming and lottery industry effectively and professionally in order to generate sustainable revenue for the State, promote sports development, stimulate economic growth, and safeguard the interests of all stakeholders, including patrons, operators, investors, and the general public.
Dr. Joseph S. Nule is a distinguished academic, researcher, and consultant with over a decade of professional experience in teaching, research, and technical capacity development. He currently serves as the Executive Secretary of the Benue State Sports Marketing, Gaming, and Lottery Board, where he is leading a comprehensive reform agenda to reposition the sector for transparency, innovation, and sustainable revenue generation.
